Subject: First Newspaper Meeting of the Year!

Hey guys (and ladies)! I just wanted to make sure you all knew that the first newspaper meeting of the year will be tomorrow (Thursday) at 4pm FHT. We'll be discussing what sorts of things you guys want to do to contribute, and I'll have a bunch of sugary foods, so you really should come. See you guys there!

As mentioned in this week's edition of The Fandom Hightimes, we're holding a special election for the Most Saccharine Couple at Fandom High. The winning pair will get...something very lovely from the newspaper staff that we have yet to decide on. But it'll be nice. Really, we promise.

And I don't know why I'm emphasizing this, since the ones who need to read this the most will be the ones who ignore it, but at least I can say that I tried. Also remember, this is for students only. Sorry teachers/townies!]

The urge to make zombie noises as she walks back to her room is almost too great for Chloe. But making noises requires extra energy, and that's a resource Chloe simply doesn't have after spending the night working on the election newspaper. She remembers spending the whole evening working, and the better part of the early morning too, and she swears she accidentally fell asleep using Jake as a pillow. Then she woke up on the floor of the Journalism classroom, in the middle of what would have been class.

All in all? Best. night. ever. And she gets to do it all again next week.

Just before dawn, Chloe gets up, grabs her notebook, her bag, and a good flashlight, and sneaks out of her dorm room, being certain not to wake Veronica on her way out. So the police station is closed all weekend? Well, if they won't give me any answers, I guess I'll just have to go find them myself.
